Bolt-on Business Utilities take data security very seriously and ensure all processes comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data protection Act (DPA) 2018. We are fully committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.
Unless otherwise stated our clients Service Agreement, we will act as the controller of any personal data held by Bolt-on Business Utilities.
Whilst using our services, we request and collect information directly from each business and its representatives. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Utility supply data
- E-mail address
- Supplier online login details
- Personal address’ and dates of birth
We use this information to populate our database’ to administer services and also use this information for marketing material. In addition, third party suppliers may ask for director’s personal details for credit checking and security purposes. We hold all information for the duration of the services that we provide to our clients. Once our services conclude, we delete all personal information unless it is agreed with our clients to hold the information for. We do not provide information to 3rd parties, unless required to for the purpose of carrying out our services.
You have the right to request a copy of any personal information that we hold on you or your business. If you would like a copy of this or you would like us to remove you from our database, please contact us. Please note, we are constantly reviewing how we process and protect data.
